Skin Pigmentation & Vitiligo
Your skin gets its color from the pigment melanin. Melanin is produced by a group of cells called melanocytes, and its responsible for your skin, hair and even eye color.
If your body produces too much melanin, your skin gets darker; too little and your skin gets lighter.
If the melanocytes becomes damaged or unhealthy, it affects melanin production which can lead to discoloration of patches of skin or even the entire body.
Vitiligo is the most common skin condition related to loss of pigmentation, where white patches of skin appear in the body, most commonly the hands, feet, arms, face and lips and other areas often exposed to the sun, though not exclusively.
In Vitiligo, the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the melanocytes, damaging or completely destroying them, where they can no longer produce melanin.
Immunotrax Pigment Protection Pills are recommended specially for those people using UV treatment therapy.
Immunotrax Pigment Protection Formula is a powerful blend designed to support healthy T-cell and immune system activity while protecting sensitive skin from photodermatoses, Vitiligo, pigmentation and discoloration due to sun exposure and/or harmful immune system imbalance.
Our exclusive highly concentrated formula (standardized 50:1) its also rich in antioxidant helping boost vitamin C absorption and protecting your skin from UV exposure.
Immunotrax Pigment Protection is also commonly used alongside phototherapy to accelerate results and protect the skin from the photo-toxicity and cancerous effects of prolonged UV radiation.
Taken twice a day, repigmentation typically begins to show in 2 to 3 months, sooner if used with Phototherapy.
At Immunotrax we take in consideration individual body mass when recommending dosage for best results.

How does repigmentation starts? Adrian Gerard 2017-07-14T09:52:55+00:00
Repigmentation can happen in a few different ways.
Uniform/Progressive: Where repigmentation starts on one end and progressively moves across the affected area.
Concentric: Where it begins around the edges of the area affected and moves inward.
Follicular: Repigmentation which begins in the hair follicles as dots and gradually expand to cover the affected area.
What is UVB phototherapy? Adrian Gerard 2017-07-24T17:28:02+00:00
Phototherapy is the treatment with ultraviolet (UV) radiation with the purpose of inducing immune suppression and stimulating cytokines.
- Whole-body or localized broadband or narrowband UVB.
- Excimer laser UVB targeted for small areas affected.
- Oral, or topical photo-chemotherapy (PUVA)
Treatment is usually given twice weekly for a trial period of 3–4 months. If positive results are observed, treatment is continued until desired results are achieved or for a maximum of 1–2 years.
Phototherapy is not suitable for very fair skinned people and it is important to avoid burning the skin, as this could cause the condition to get worse.
Why a pill and not a cream? Adrian Gerard 2017-07-14T10:03:16+00:00
Vitiligo happens because skin cells called melanocytes are being attacked by the immune system. Once damaged, they’re unable to produce melanin, the pigment that gives color to our skin, hair, and eyes.
These melanocytes cells are located in the bottom layer (stratum basale) of the epidermis – where the effectiveness of creams is limited.
Immunotrax Pigment Protection approach is systemic, covers your whole body and works to tackle the problem where it originates.
How long do I need to take Immunotrax Pigment Protection to see color coming back to my skin? Adrian Gerard 2017-07-14T10:29:21+00:00
Re-pigmentation of the skin affected by Vitiligo is possible, though it depends on the severity of the damage sustained by the melanocytes.
The melanocytes are the cells that produce the pigment that gives your skin its natural color. If these cells have been damaged beyond repair, unfortunately in those areas, regaining natural color is no longer possible.
Those cells that didn’t sustain catastrophic damage, will begin to produce melanin once again after they heal.
How long this process takes depends on various factors – individual metabolic rate, absorption levels of the product, sun exposure, length and severity of the condition prior to taking Immunotrax Pigment Protection.
On average, customers report that the condition halts within 3 to 5 weeks and re-pigmentation is observed after 8 weeks.
How can it help me with re-pigmentation? Adrian Gerard 2017-07-14T10:18:51+00:00
Immunotrax PP works by protecting the melanocytes in your skin, preventing the damage and destruction of these cells that produce melanin, the pigment responsible for your skin color. Once the melanocytes are no longer being attacked, the cells are able to heal and resume producing melanin and allowing your skin to regain its natural color.
It is worth mentioning that Vitiligo may damage some melanocytes beyond repair, making it possible to halt discoloration, but no longer possible to regain pigmentation.
